The Writer's Style I figure the approximate length of my essay. The combination of the number of words, the variety of verbiage, diction, grammar, and sentence structures, and my selection of the range of information is my starting style. However, my delightful, engaging manner of expression that evolves in the third paragraph seems to have more generalized audience appeal and will, eventually, completely replace the intended scientific terms, thereby ultimately transforming the style from that of formal academic essay to that of informal personal essay . *Quoted from my article "Teaching the Tools of the Five Classical Canons of Rhetoric to Composition Students through the Quiltmaking Design Process"--and copyrighted 2006.
