Dynamic Design

with the five classical canons of rhetoric

The Writer's Invention

I am in my writing studio.  An intriguing concept related to the hummingbird’s ability to hover has caught my imagination and is challenging me to use it as the central focus of my next piece.  I begin to brainstorm about which forms would most fervently put forth this fascinating concept, and I jot abbreviated notes on a scrap of paper beside my chair.  Eventually, after evaluating each idea, I decide to expound on the concept concerning hovering hummingbirds in the form of an academic essay.  The manner in which I develop this concept, supported by ample scientific information, in an essayistic form, becomes my invention.
