About Hummingbird Hill Studio Hummingbird Hill Studio began in 1985 as the home of my quilt designs. Currently, the Studio retails (and wholesales) eighteen individually packaged patterns, as well as three pattern notebooks. I have been a quiltmaking instructor for the past quarter of a century. I have written profusely for most of my sixty-five years, and was educated, in my youth, to be a journalist. I eventually received a Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock . . . which gave birth to the writing division of Hummingbird Hill Studio.
